K 1200LT Rear Brake Modification

You must purchase a set of EBC Double-H pads.  Part # FA244HH (for a Ducati)
Don't substitute another style of pad!!

Grind or file the corners off one or both pads as shown below. Use the original pad for a template.   It is for clearance only and the amount is not critical. 
The other pad will fit without modification. Grinding both won't hurt anything.
Install as usual....That's it.  Enjoy much better braking!

You do not need to grind the pad material, just the base metal.
